Irish soda bread is a traditional bread from Ireland.

Ingredients
- 4 cups Flour (500 g)
- 1 cup Sugar (200 g)
- 2 Large eggs
- 1 cup Milk (240 ml)
- 4 tsp Baking powder
- 1 pinch Baking soda
- 1 stick Butter melted (112 g) (4 oz)
- 1 cup Craisins/Raisins (160 g)
- 1 tbsp Sugar in the raw
Instructions
- (Preheat oven at 350°F (180°C).
- Mix all ingredients, except butter. Then, add butter and mix to a smooth dough.
- Scoop out making 2 round loaves on a parchment paper lined cookie sheet.
- Sprinkle top with sugar in the raw. Bake for one hour.
- Enjoy right out of the oven with Irish butter. Stores well for a few days.
