Ingredients

  • Espresso stovetop pot
  • Water
  • Good quality espresso
  • Sugar (optional)

Instructions

  • 1. Fill the bottom part of the coffee maker to the release steam valve.
  • 2. Place the funnel part of the maker in the water.
  • 3. Add your ground espresso coffee without pressing down and fill to create a small mound.
  • 4. Place the top part on and turn to close tightly but not too tight otherwise tough to open to clean.
  • 5. Place on medium heat. Be careful that the plastic handle is not over the flame or it will melt.
  • 6. I also fill my coffee server with water and on low heat, I keep it warm until coffee is ready.
  • 7. Drain the water from the server and add your ready coffee with sugar to taste.
  • 8. Serve IMMEDIATELY because espresso needs to hot to be perfect.
  • If you don’t sugar the coffee just proceeds to serve once is ready in the stovetop pot.
  • Enjoy!
  • This is how we do it in Naples!
  • Tip on caring for your stovetop coffee pot:-
  • -After use, rinse under warm water using no dishwashing detergent. Make sure you remove the coffee grinds under the top part where there’s a rubber seal.
  • -Now leave to air dry and do not store put together because this will create mold in the bottom part of the pot.
  • These little details will guarantee a delicious tazzulella di caffè every time.SHOW LESS
