Spaghetti in Tomato sauce | How to make spaghetti with red sauce

Ingredients

  • 1 pound spaghetti
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • 5 tablespoon extra virgin olive oil
  • 1 pound fresh cherry tomatoes cut in half(450 grams) or 1 14 oz can cherry tomatoes (400 grams)
  • 1 hot chili pepper (optional)
  • Fresh basil to taste and garnish
  • Salt to taste

Instructions

  1. Step#1- On high heat place a large pot filled with cold water and salt.
  2. Step#2- In a large sauté pan add your oil and garlic. When the garlic is golden add your cherry tomatoes and stir.
  3. Step#3- Add your salt.
  4. Step#4- Let it cook just for about 10 minutes.
  5. Step#5- Once your water is boiling, add your spaghetti.
  6. Step#6- Before your spaghetti is fully cooked remove with tongs and add straight to your tomatoes stirring until all well combined.
  7. Step#7- Add a ladle of the pasta water and continue cooking for a minute.
  8. Step#8- Add your basil shredded with your hands. Your meal is ready in less than 30 minutes!
