Ingredients

For Ziti:-

  • 3 pounds or 1350 grams – Ziti (Can substitute with Penne Rigate)
  • Added Salt as you boil

For Tomato Sauce:-

  • 3 x Peeled San Marzano tomatoes cans (Each can is 28 ounces/800 grams)
  • 1/4 cup Extra Virgin Olive oil (40 grams)
  • 1 small onion chopped
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • Fresh Basil (10 medium leaves)

For the mixture:-

  • 2 pounds- Ricotta cheese (900 grams)
  • 1 pound shredded mozzarella cheese (450 grams)
  • 1 cup Parmigiano Reggiano (120 grams)
  • 2 eggs
  • Fresh cracked black pepper to taste
  • Salt to taste
