Spaghetti Aglio e Olio Recipe -Spaghetti with Garlic and Olive Oil

Ingredients
- 1 lb. Spaghetti
- 5 tbsp. Extra virgin olive oil
- 3-5 cloves Garlic
- 1 Red hot chili pepper or 1/2 tsp red chili flakes
- 1 handful Walnut chopped
- 1/4 cup Chopped fresh parsley
- 1/2 cup Parmigiano Reggiano or Pecorino Romano
Instructions

In a large pot filled with water add salt and bring to a boil.

Drop spaghetti and proceed in a large sauté pan by adding oil, garlic and chili pepper. (Careful not to burn the garlic by adding a ladle of pasta water).

Add the pasta under al dente to the oil and garlic and blend together by adding more pasta water (This process is called “mantecare”).

Add the cheese and continue to blend until it’s creamy.

Mix in the walnuts and lots of parsley.

Serve immediately
