Ingredients

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour(300 grams)
  • 1/2 cup sugar (100 grams)
  • 3 tsp baking powder
  • 3 large eggs at room temperature
  • 8 ounces mascarpone cheese
  • 1/2 cup of limoncello (120 ml)
  • Zest of a lemon

Instructions

  • In a large bowl combine eggs and sugar. Using an electric mixer beat until light doubled in size.
  • Incorporate the mascarpone and continue beating.
  • Slowly add the limoncello. Add the lemon zest.
  • Sift the flour and baking powder snd add to the wet ingredients.
  • Grease a 9-inch springform pan lined at the bottom with parchment paper.
  • Bake at 350 degrees Fahrenheit for one hour.
  • Let it cool and sprinkle powder sugar before serving. Enjoy!
