Ingredients
- 1 pound spaghetti
- 2 cloves garlic
- 5 tablespoon extra virgin olive oil
- 1 pound fresh cherry tomatoes cut in half(450 grams) or 1 14 oz can cherry tomatoes (400 grams)
- 1 hot chili pepper (optional)
- Fresh basil to taste and garnish
- Salt to taste
Instructions
- Step#1- On high heat place a large pot filled with cold water and salt.
- Step#2- In a large sauté pan add your oil and garlic. When the garlic is golden add your cherry tomatoes and stir.
- Step#3- Add your salt.
- Step#4- Let it cook just for about 10 minutes.
- Step#5- Once your water is boiling, add your spaghetti.
- Step#6- Before your spaghetti is fully cooked remove with tongs and add straight to your tomatoes stirring until all well combined.
- Step#7- Add a ladle of the pasta water and continue cooking for a minute.
- Step#8- Add your basil shredded with your hands. Your meal is ready in less than 30 minutes!
