Ingredients
Ground Beef with Peas, String Beans, and Basmati Rice.
- 1Â large sliced onion
- 1 tablespoon chopped garlic
- 1 tablespoon chopped ginger
- 1 tsp turmeric powder
- 12 ounces chopped meat beef/chicken/turkey (350 grams)
- 4 tablespoon vegetable oil
- 12 ounces peas (350 grams)
- 1 ib string beans cut in one-inch pieces
- 1 ib 1 lb of tomatoes chopped or a small can of chopped tomatoes
- Salt to taste
- Fresh cilantro to garnish
Basmati rice:-
- 2 cups basmati rice
- Salt to taste
Instructions
Ground Beef with Peas, String Beans, and Basmati Rice.

Step#1 -In a large skillet add oil and the sliced onions.

Step#2- Sauté on medium heat and keep stirring until golden and edges are brown.

Step#3- Now add your meat and with a flat tip wooden spoon break the meat so that it doesn’t make lumps. Keep stirring until cooked.

Step#4- Add your garlic, ginger, and salt and stir for about a minute and add you turmeric, coriander, and chili powders.

Step#5- Stir for a minute and add your chopped tomatoes.

Step#6- As the tomatoes start to cook and release water add your peas and string beans. Add a little water, cover, and cook on low flame until vegetables are tender.
For the Basmati rice

Step#1- In a bowl wash the rice under cold running water and let it soak for about an hour.

Step#2- In a 5-quart pot add water and salt. Bring to a boil. Drop your rice in the boiling water and let it cook for about 5 minutes.

Step#3- Drain the rice but retain about 1/3 cup of rice water.

Step#4- Pour rice back in the pot and cook on low heat with the lid on for about 10 minutes.

Step#5- Rice will double in length and will be light and fragrant. You can add a little butter on top.

Serve the basmati rice with the meat on top garnished with fresh cilantro.
