Ingredients

Chicken Marsala Recipe

  • 1-1/2 pounds to 2 pounds of boneless skinless chicken breasts or chicken tenderloins( 750 grams to 1 kilo)
  • Flour to coat chicken, about 4 tbsp
  • Salt to taste
  • Freshly ground black pepper
  • 4 tablespoon olive oil
  • 3 tablespoons butter
  • 8 oz to 2 pound mushrooms’(sliced baby Bella or white)
  • 1 small onion chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup chicken broth (250 ml)
  • 3/4 cup dry Marsala wine or white wine with 1 tbsp brandy ( 200 ml)
  • 3/4 cup heavy cream or light cream. For lower calories add evaporated milk (200 ml)
