Chicken Marsala Recipe
- 1-1/2 pounds to 2 pounds of boneless skinless chicken breasts or chicken tenderloins( 750 grams to 1 kilo)
- Flour to coat chicken, about 4 tbsp
- Salt to taste
- Freshly ground black pepper
- 4 tablespoon olive oil
- 3 tablespoons butter
- 8 oz to 2 pound mushrooms’(sliced baby Bella or white)
- 1 small onion chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup chicken broth (250 ml)
- 3/4 cup dry Marsala wine or white wine with 1 tbsp brandy ( 200 ml)
- 3/4 cup heavy cream or light cream. For lower calories add evaporated milk (200 ml)
