Caffè Espresso | Espresso Coffee | Na tazzulella ‘e café

  • Espresso stovetop pot
  • Water
  • Good quality espresso
  • Sugar (optional)
  1. 1. Fill the bottom part of the coffee maker to the release steam valve.

  2. 2. Place the funnel part of the maker in the water.

  3. 3. Add your ground espresso coffee without pressing down and fill to create a small mound.

  4. 4. Place the top part on and turn to close tightly but not too tight otherwise tough to open to clean.

  5. 5. Place on medium heat. Be careful that the plastic handle is not over the flame or it will melt.

  6. 6. I also fill my coffee server with water and on low heat, I keep it warm until coffee is ready.

  7. 7. Drain the water from the server and add your ready coffee with sugar to taste.

  8. 8. Serve IMMEDIATELY because espresso needs to hot to be perfect.

  9. If you don’t sugar the coffee just proceeds to serve once is ready in the stovetop pot.

  12. Tip on caring for your stovetop coffee pot:-

  13. -After use, rinse under warm water using no dishwashing detergent. Make sure you remove the coffee grinds under the top part where there’s a rubber seal.

  14. -Now leave to air dry and do not store put together because this will create mold in the bottom part of the pot.
