Ingredients

  • Recipe (For 6 to 8 people).
  • 2 loaves of day-old Italian bread sliced in rounds
  • 1/4 cup extra virgin olive oil or more
  • 2 cloves of garlic whole
  • Salt to taste
  • Fresh cracked black pepper to taste

Bruschetta

  • 6/8 large plum tomatoes chopped
  • 1 large red/white onion chopped
  • Bunch of fresh basil chopped
  • 2-4 hot green peppers (optional)
  • 10-15 mixed olives chopped
  • 1/4 extra virgin olive oil
  • Salt to taste
  • Oregano(optional)

Instructions

for bread for bruschetta:-

  • 1. In a bowl combine oil, salt, and pepper.
  • 2. Place the bread slices on a large cooking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  • 3. With a pastry brush coat the bread slices with the oil. Bake at 375 until golden, usually about 15 minutes.
  • 4. Remove from the oven and let them cool.
  • 5. Remove the top from garlic clove and rub on each bread.
  • 6. Set aside until bruschetta tomatoes are ready.

Bruschetta

  • 1. In a large bowl combine all the ingredients from above.
  • 2. Mix well, taste and adjust the salt.
  • 3. Display the bread slices on a serving plate and add your bruschetta tomatoes before serving.
  • 4. Garnish with basil leaves.
