Ingredients
- 1 bunch fresh broccoli rabe
- 3 cloves fresh garlic sliced
- 5 tablespoon extra virgin olive oil
- 3 red dried hot pepper (optional)
Instructions
- Step#1-Cut off about 2 inches from the stem up.
- Step#2-Wash your broccoli rabe in a large bowl with cold water discarding water twice
- Step#3-Place a large pot with water and salt snd bring to a boil.
- Step#4-In a sauté pan add oil, sliced garlic, and chili peppers.
- Step#5-Once the water is boiling and you add your broccoli rabe put the heat on the sauté pan.
- Step#6-The broccoli rabe needs to cook for a couple of minutes or longer depending on your taste. I like mine not overcooked and brilliant green color.
- Step#7-When the oil is bubbling with the garlic and hot pepper with a tong remove broccoli rabe and add to the oil. Be careful not to burn yourself because it can splatter.
- Step#8-Add a little water from broccoli rabe and stir for a minute or so u til all covered with the oil. Enjoy!
